Stillwater Graphics, Inc. operations began humbly in a renovated woodshed in Brookfield, Vermont. With some "recycled" equipment we began printing for local businesses. Specializing in quality printing and excellent customer service, Stillwater Graphics began to grow. Word of mouth has been the way in which about 98% of our customers have discovered us. Each new customer is much like a new member of our family. As the business continued to grow we outgrew the woodshed and renovated a charming, turn of the century grain elevator building in Williamstown, Vermont into our house of operations.
A strong commitment to quality printing and environmental stewardship has been a focus of Stillwater Graphics from it’s inception, a legacy of the founders Greg and Susan Lancey. Stillwater Graphics has always been a "green" printing company, we use organic oil based inks, we promote post consumer recycled papers, we use the most enviro-safe solvents, we recycle toner cartridges, waste ink, scrap paper and cardboard. Our heating and lighting systems are high efficiency to conserve our precious natural resources. Even the building we are in is recycled from and old grain elevator. Stillwater has been a Vermont Business Environmental Partner for many years. In early 2006 we added a state of the art CTP system, that is essentially chemistry free plate making which led to our winning of the "2006 Governor’s award for Environmental Excellence"
In August of 2006 Stillwater Graphics came under new ownership. Owners John Rhodes. Dana LaPlant, and Lester Plant are all life long printers who have come together here to build upon Stillwater’s foundation that was started by Greg and Susan Lancey. We Have added new staff and new equipment aimed at producing the highest quality work with quick turn around at a price that says real value.
